Angie brings over 17 years experience in the hospitality industry including the management of thousands of events for leading Tourism businesses in Australia and overseas. Her experience includes 6 years as Events Director, based in London where she was involved in Events for President George Bush, HM The Queen and Prince Phillip, NATO, BAFTA, Harry Potter, Boeing and Nelson Mandela to name a few. Angie brings her passion for events to The Plantation. Her excellent personal skills, solid operation and project management experience and sense of humour has made her an integral part of our Events Team.
Tristan Hayes
Operations Manager
With a Diploma of Hospitality Management and a Bachelor of Business (Management & Enterprise Tourism), Tristan is well qualified to deliver exceptional levels of service to our leisure, wedding and conference guests. The Management of Convention Operations and Restaurants in the busy Queensland Island precinct has enabled Tristan to learn valuable skills that bring a consistency of service to guests at The Plantation. Tristan resides on site at The Plantation.

Business Development Director
With 14 years in Corporate business on a State and National level and a background with leading five star hotels in Queensland, Kellie’s role as both owner and Business Development Director of The Plantation allows her to work on growing the business across the four strategic areas of leisure, conferences and events including corporate off site dinner events and high end weddings.
